Counseling services are available to assist our students with educational, personal, and social development. Student support is provided through individual counseling and lessons in the classroom. Common support topics include friendships, feelings of grief and loss, family changes, and stress management. In addition to providing various counseling services, School Counselor Amy Barker also serves as a consultant for teachers, parents, and other outside specialists as an advocate for Woodland students.
Students may self-refer by stopping by the counseling office or emailing to schedule an appointment. Students may also be referred by teachers or parents. Parents are encouraged to contact Mrs. Barker to discuss concerns or to schedule an appointment.
