Before School Care is available for grades PK-8. Drop-off is from 7:00-7:15 a.m. at the lower gymnasium door. There is a $3.00 per day fee for Before School Care billed monthly in Blackbaud Tuition Management.
Four parking signs are located in the parking lot in front of Haygood Gymnasium. Please park and text the ASC phone number 901.825.0588) with your child's name, grade, and make of car. You may enter through the Haygood Gymnasium entrance, down the stairs, and to the right to the ASC desk to sign your student out for the day.
Come one, come all to our arts and crafts-filled Fall Break Camp. We will provide two snacks each day in the morning and the afternoon. Campers must bring their lunch with utensils and a labeled water bottle. Microwaves are not available to heat lunches.
Little Woodland through Senior Kindergarten will need their nap mat covers for nap time after lunch and a sleep friend is always welcome.
Drop-off is at Point B (back of school) from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Pick-up is at the Haygood Gymnasium entrance. Please buzz in to come inside to sign your camper out.

Join Mrs. Cabello for a fun afternoon of bilingual storytelling (English and Spanish). During this bilingual storytelling explore Hispanic culture and some of their traditions. During each session, students will enjoy a bilingual story, an art project/craft for each story!
My name is Anne Catherine Landsgaard. I am currently a sophomore music therapy student at the University of Memphis, and have nearly a decade of experience in music. I have had the privilege of coaching a few Tennessee All State singers and served as the soprano section leader in my high school's Honor Choir. Additionally, I was a member of the All West Tennessee and All State Tennessee choirs for two consecutive years. I have four years of experience playing the piano and two years with the guitar. I continue to hone my skills through ongoing guitar and voice lessons.

The Gardeners will brainstorm ideas to enhance our established garden areas! Their creativity and understanding of what WPS students like to do will be channeled into new and improved garden activities and designs! They will also help winterize the garden and plant spring bulbs as winter approaches. As always, they will have time to play and enjoy being outside!
Gardeners will plant a fall salad bed, and after tending it, they’ll enjoy taking a salad home to eat. They will learn the planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting elements of gardening. They may even grow their love of salad veggies. As always, they will have time to play and enjoy being outside!

Students will go to ASC have a snack and then the teacher will come and get them. The teacher has assignments for these grades along with test dates. She will lightly check homework and quiz students for tests. Please know this is NOT a one-on-one tutoring session. Pick-up is at the ASC checkout desk located by the art room.

Middle School Homework Hotspot
A quiet environment to get daily assignments finished. Supervised by a Woodland teacher, students will meet at ASC, have a snack, and then go to their HOMEWORK HOTSPOT classroom. Please know this is NOT a one-on-one tutoring session. Pick-up is at the ASC checkout desk by the art room.
A Sunfish teaching artist will bring each child into the world of story and poetry through creative drama, character development, environment, exploration, and movement in a positive, nurturing environment. Students will learn storytelling, stage movement, characterization, and basic memorization of poems, songs, and stories. There will be a small demo at the end of the session for parents to attend.
Little Forensics Medical School offers hands-on learning about the role of a forensic investigator. Participants will learn about toxicology, facial reconstruction, and more, culminating in their informal graduation as Forensic Scientists!

ACTION (Art, Choir, Theater in one night) is conducted by Woodland Presbyterian Church. A performing arts group sponsored by Woodland Presbyterian Church that meets every Wednesday in the church choir room. We learn songs, create art projects, and present a musical each December and May.

Friday's garden time is open to WPS students of all ages! Come and spend some time in our award-winning garden and experience all that there is to enjoy! This class is week by week and students can come to any or all of the Friday sessions!

Wings Gymnastics offers OLYMPIC-based curricula for boys & girls of all ages and skill levels. Time to have fun and make new friends. Immerse your child in the sport kids love while in an encouraging safe environment. Improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and focus. Learn skills on bars, balance beam, floor, and vault/mini tramp with aerobic moves and stretches. Wings staff is made up of former competitive gymnasts, power tumblers, and cheerleaders with years of experience.

These gymnasts will develop flexibility, strength, and coordination as they flip, swing, handstand, and cartwheel.
