The Gardeners will design and help build benches with planters around the patio in front of our stage. They will plant herb and flower seeds in miniature greenhouses that will grow into plants for our bench planters to be planted after April 15. They will complete work on their fall projects. They will also enjoy plenty of time to create in the outdoor kitchen, pond, fairy, and dino gardens, and loose parts building area!
Green Thumbs will plant vegetable and flower seeds in miniature greenhouses to transfer to our raised bed after April 15. They will work the soil and mulch, water, and weed to provide a good growing environment for their plants! They will tend our worm farm and harvest the vermicompost to add to our soil. They will make “worm tea” to water the plants with as a special treat! They will plant flowers that pollinators love around our Pollinator Palace to attract native pollinators to our garden. Of course, we will also have lots of time to play in the outdoor kitchen, enjoy the pond, visit the fairies in the fairy garden, and erupt the dinosaurs’ volcano!
